Meet Taitum
For Taitum Floyd, finding the right home starts with understanding how someone wants to live. Houston-born and extremely familiar with the inner loop, she helps clients find spaces that suit their routines, priorities, and the kind of life they want to build there.
She works across Houston, with particular expertise in the Heights and Montrose, two neighborhoods she loves for their mix of historic homes, modern new construction, and townhomes. Walkability, character, and close access to some of Houston’s best dining and entertainment make these areas especially appealing for young professionals, couples, and families looking for a lifestyle-driven location near downtown.
Before becoming an agent, Taitum worked as an interior designer for Pottery Barn, where she developed a strong feel for how people move through and experience a home. She also spent time as a full-time nanny and primary caregiver for families with young children. Alongside that, she has taught yoga professionally for more than four years, mentoring new teachers and helping them build confidence in their teaching style and approach.
What she enjoys most about her work as a real estate agent is helping people through big decisions well. Buying or selling a home comes with questions, uncertainty, and plenty of moving parts, and Taitum makes sure her clients feel well-looked after from beginning to end.
She is highly responsive and honest, paying close attention to the details that keep things moving. Her relationship-first approach means clients always know where things stand and what comes next. She wants people to feel confident and supported, whether they are buying their first home or finding one that better fits the next chapter of their life.
Outside of work, Taitum still teaches and practices yoga, loves skincare and wellness, unwinds with a cozy game, and is an avid baker and sweets enthusiast. She shares life with her boyfriend of four and a half years, along with their cat and dog, who definitely run the household.
